What is your proudest moment as a woman?

I am a jazz clarinetist/saxophonist, and I tour with an all-women jazz big band called DIVA. Every time we get on stage, it feels so incredible to blow people’s expectations out of the water, completely amaze them, and kick some serious butt.

What do you do to relax or decompress?
I am completely addicted and dedicated to a one hour walk in Gallop Park every morning. I’ll get up at 5 a.m. if i have to, just to make sure I get that walk in. It sets the tone for my entire day.

What is one thing you would like to learn to do?
I would love to learn how to scuba dive. I have always thought that scuba diving would be an amazing experience to be a guest in another world.

What is one thing that joining Pastel has changed for you?
Owning and running my own business, while it has many rewards, can be isolating at times. At Pastel, I immediately found so many other women who are in the same boat as me, and it’s a great feeling.

There is great strength in a community of women such as this one, and I am so glad to be a part of Pastel!
