Creativity Circle: The Striped Petal Paper Cactus Workshop
Do you lack a green thumb? Or just want to learn a new craft? Join us for our Paper Cactus Workshop hosted by Liz of The Striped Petal! The Striped Petal specializes in re-creating nature — from flowers to succulents, to cacti! Her paper creations are full of beautiful, realistic detail, are reusable & eco-friendly, and you’ll never need to water!
In this workshop, Liz will take us step by step in creating one of her signature crepe paper creations, the paper cactus. All materials needed to make your very own cactus will be provided, including the pot!
Please register in advance as seats are limited. Light refreshments will be provided.
This event is discounted to Pastel members and $65 for non-members. Please note: Pastel Circles are either free or discounted for Pastel members. Learn how you can become a member to work, meet and learn with like-minded women in our beautiful shared workspace!
Pastel’s Circle Series is a monthly meet-up, geared toward helping you connect with your community, and features workshops in the areas of entrepreneurship, creativity, wellness, and social networking.
A Michigan native and natural creative, Liz, founder of The Striped Petal, set off on a westward adventure where she perfected her fresh flower design skills in her Colorado flower shop for 10 years. Homesickness drove her back to Michigan and into the arms of a new love: paper flowers. Now Liz uses her background in floral design and her detailed craftsmanship to create life-like paper flowers and botanicals. The Striped Petal creates custom, eco-friendly, long-lasting alternatives for bridal bouquets, arrangements, and home decor.
