Creativity Circle: Intro to Watercolor-Paint your own Galaxies!
Join us at Pastel for this beginner’s workshop, where Kate Alber of Wylie and Winnie will introduce us to the wonderful world of watercolor painting! Painting galaxies will introduce you to many fundamental techniques of watercolor, while being a relaxing and enjoyable project that you can display in your home or office! We will complete 2-3 paintings together (or more, depending on how fast you paint!)
You’ll leave with your very own set of quality materials to take home and continue exploring with!What’s included in your watercolor kit:
+ a palette of watercolor paints
+ watercolor paint brush set
+ washi tape
+ a few extra pieces of watercolor paper to take home.
If you’ve ever wanted to try watercolor painting, this beginner’s workshop is for you (although more seasoned painters are welcome!)

Emily Wiedmaier is Pastel’s Community Manager and brand leader with 10+ years experience with small business operations. A graduate of University of Michigan in Women’s Studies, she’s a positive, proactive leader specializing in customer experience, systems organization, project management, and sales engagement. Emily is an avid crafter, doer, and all around organizer, and celebrates all things homemade and local.
